I launch my car at 6000rpms, so basically in VTEC. Im in my powerband the WHOLE time...shift @ 8400ish rpms, boom falls down to 6000+..

I also get like 2.2 60 fot times, which isnt that bad for a FWD with all seasons..

Anyway, i just fed it to a 92 civic hb w/a GSR motor with I/h/e... guess he cant drive aswell as me

I even had my powersteering belt on! (7hp! ) jehehe

Hope to cya guys saturday, waterwings.. im lookn to race yuor 328 too!

nice where is the venue? I have intake, m50 intake, 3.15 lsd, exhaust, shoft shift. Performance wise. Should be interesting

Thats if we do Cayuga .. is it open to the public on saturday? I thought that was only friday nights?

fastest type r has been rated 6.2 14.7 by mags, slowest was 6.7-7.0 15.2
although ive heard of amateurs run 14.3-14.5 stock, but rare.... most dont break 15.0
fastest E36 M3 was around 5.5 14.0@99mph, slowest, dont remember

im sorry, the E36 would win everything being equal. even check s2ki.com, its more of a driver race between s2000, E36 M3, 350Z, 99-04 stang gt's.

thats ok for vtec's that holds true, but not all jap cars have vtecs. my eclipse sucked at about 5,000 rpm im at max hp and tq, then at about 6,500 redline, shift, the rpms droped down to about 4,500 just under max id have to climb again to reach my full power band. but if you start from a stand still and down rev the fudge out of it, say both at 3,500 rpm the bmw would already be in its prime for tq.
