Driving games for PC suggestions...

Ever since the Gran Turismo trio came out...there has NEVER been a driving game...even for computer...which can match the level of graphics and realism of GT.

I have purchased various driving games...only to be dissappointed in the end...ESPECIALLY with Sega GT...it showed pics of cars drifting all over the box...but in game...drifting knocks half your speed, and handling was unrealistic.

So far, the best realistic driving games for computer would be 4X4 Evo 2, and LeMans 24hours. Problem with Evo 2 is that you can't go fast and you get motion sickness with the incar camera...problem with LeMans is you can't drift...but they are both pretty realistic and have great graphics.

I've already finished both games (except for the real 24 hour race in LeMans...not that crazy)...and looking for a new driving game...but don't want to be disappointed. Anyone have any suggestions? Preferably a game that I can have some fun drifting!

Rallisport Challenge for PC is looking really good...anyone have any other suggestions?

It was posted on here a few days ago, but there is a fantastic driving simulation available for free on the net called Racer, with all sorts of realistic downloadable cars and tracks. The driving physics are simply incredible, better than GT3. I have never had fun doing donuts in video game before playing Racer ; )

its available at www.racer.nl

I highly recommend it.

By far the most realistic computer driving game i've ever played is "touring car challenge toca2" it's made by codemasters and if you have a racing wheel it's amazing.. the game made me break a sweat by the 10th lap.

I was like daaayymmmmm!

Toca 2 is an awsome game! It is great for BTCC fans who remember how it used to be... Also you can look into Viper Racing by Sierra (both can be found on Kazaa) Viper is a great game with just vipers, tough challenge with realistic drifting too.
