u gotta be kidding me man, michael schumacher can't do it anymore ? well I guess Barichello is a goner too since schumacher is still faster than him.

Everybody knows it's all down to the tires. Ferrari being the only top team on bridgestone makes r&d for tires extremely slow vis-a-vis michelin.

Dont make stupid comments like that and give respect where it is due, schumacher ist der ringmeister. If he retires, we will not see anyone of his calibre for a long long time, so enjoy his talent while you can.

Typical reply of blind partisanship : ad hominem attack.
So Instead of suggesting I smoke weed, why don't you explain your rationale for saying schumacher doesnt have it ?

I've been an F1 fan for as long as I remember, I never hated/disliked a driver. I have huge respect for all of them, from villeneuve and coulthard to the new wonderboys kimi and fernando , I enjoy their racing tremendously.

BUT, the best driver by far is schumacher.

Did you see what Jacques Villeneuve did to his team mate Massa?...was that the dumbest move a team driver could have done at that stage of a race?..The owners was very PO about that accident which cost them valuable point in the contructor standings....

I think that it is now time for michael to retire because he doesnt have it anymore and thats fine cause he won alot but now its time of some other people who have a great deal of talent to take on the reins

Whats with you people saying that Schumaher doesnt have it anymore??????
What are you thinking, he suddnely lost his talent? Of course he still has it. Although it will be very difficult for Schumi and Ferrari to come back on top, they will certainly be placed much better in the standings later on in the season.

And yes, tires have a HUGE deal to do with the performnace. HUGE!!

Gullwing and Rocketman are right, tires play a huge role in the performance of a car. Especially with the new regulations that only permit one set of tires for a race. The car and driver have to be very careful with their tires. Right now, Ferrari just hasnt perfected the tire wear that Mercedes has.

Plus, Monte Carlo is very difficult to pass on, and the Ferraris were behind a lot of traffic for the majority of the race.

lol. tires ARE that huge. for example, how do you figure the two williams cars were so much faster than Alonsos Renault, arguably the best car this season? No, it wasnt the drivers, or the cars, it was due to the tires.
