Ever Been Chased?

Just Wondering if anyone out there has any chase stories to tell?
Here's My Story.

Not long ago me and 4 others were cruzin around town (melbourne, australia) doing stupid stuff (to cut a long story short), it started when some people that we pissed off chased as in their 4cyl Escort (thank god it wasnt a sixaer)
He got out to do unfriendly things at a red light, so i floored it. He was a desperate stooge cos we ran red lights at 170km/h+. Then i ran up a wrong road only to find him facing us head on oh SH*T! I slapped it in reverse and sped back down the street and pulled a reverse 180 so i could get away. then i found the highway (BMW luck i guess) cos when i got on that i hit 200km/h before i turned off, he was still chasing but i lost him in some more farmiliar areas with a few shifty manouvers. Lucky for me it was 1am cos if theyre would have been more cars about it would have been worse. But now i and everyone i know is shocked at the 4cyl e36 performance.

and then you woke up.....

I havnt been chased, but once back in Europe i was coming from another City at night going 160/170 km/h constantly and cops were standing with a radar, he came on the road and tried to stop me, but i turned by high beams and just passed them, I'm not sure if they tried to chase me, but shortly after that i exit the highway and took some sidestreets to my house.

I got a few...but the best was when me and a friend whent to check a car for sale in Hamilton....On the road test i did a 3 point turn and whent on someones driveway...He came out, followed us and started b#tching as whe were making the deal on the car...We tell him to F*** of (in nicer terms)...Then we leave and he starts chasing us!!! Then my friends dad took the exit ramp to the highway doing about 90-100Km/h in a minivan! Then went into doing 170-180 on the highway untill we lost the guy!!! It was funny...

I think E36_freak and E30 girl were there to witness it....

Hell yea, seven NY state troopers on my but. And I was on a Honda trike. I won. Had a cop come after me in my five. Yup I won again.

In high school, some road ragers were chasing me in my Mazda GLC. I kept going around the block and would pull away at every corner. I kept getting the same red light and I'd watch tem approach in my mirror, when they got too close, I'd make a right turn and go around the block again. After 3 laps, I decided to end it any ran a red to turn left.

i was talking to an ex car theif and he said that most of the time cops chased him it was called off because they didnt want to put themselves and other people at risk (he had a police scanner with him also)

i've been chased once by a civic (won't say why the chase started) but i was pulling on him hard (of course) and i decided to pull into the right lane, he was in the middle or right, i started to slow down and when he got to my rear end, the timing was perfect to hit the brakes and turn into a residential street leaving him no option but to contine on that road

I forgot, I kinda got chased today.

Some knob was trying to make a left turn from the right hand lane next to me, to avoid the huge lineup of cars, for which I was at the front. I figured I'd drive like a true Chinaman and make my left turn WiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiDE. heh heh. Well, he was wise to me and tried hard to get ahead. C'mon buddy...your Hyundai is no match. But since the wife and kids were with me, I chilled. About a minute later, I could see in the mirror that he was about to do a fly by. I was slowing for a red, with a van stopped in the other lane. It was too risky to speed up and close the door.

Anyway, the dude stops in front of me and gets out, shouting "you have a problem with me??" Duhh yeah...what the F do you think loser? Anyway, nothing is worth dealing with these freaks, so I just drove around his car and took off. My wife took down his plate # and called the cops to make a complaint.

This is the first road rage incident I have ever experienced since I got this car. Got me thinking...If I was alone, I would have just peeled away, and the guy would have never caught up at all.

Got me thinking some more... how come when I drive the company vans, or when I ride with my colleagues, we always get stuck behind loser drivers on the 407/401 for many km at a time.... I think it comes down to the abilty of the 540 to briskly pass other cars and take off on them. The company Caravans just don't have enough balls on the highway, so you can't pass the offensive vehicles unless you have a lot of room. The 540 just squirts past, even without downshifting.

Also, leaves the steaming road ragers far behind, limited by their 180kph speed governors....
