Red face Racing Dynamics R52
The V-12 powered Typhoon may be king of the road, but the new 5,2 liter R52 Motor is no slouch either. Rated just under 450HP, this powerplant features VANOS, Valvetronic, and all the latest BMW paraphernalia that make it the most advanced V8 on the road.

The RDSport treatment includes a new billet crankshaft, lightweight rods, F1-style pistons to bump the displacement by 18%. New camshafts, exhaust components and a thorough reprogramming of the DME push the R52 to 447 HP, and make it a sure contender for the supercharged offerings by the competition.

If you are a purist, in the BMW sense of the word, and naturally-aspirated is your gig, then the R52 is the ultimate performance upgrade for your 545i.

That one sweet car.

No, It has a V8, they just make a reference to anothe car having a V12: The Typhoon
