driving me nuts

Ok guys heres my dilemma ,

when the cd is on I can crank the sound as loud as i want , when i turn the radio and rasie the volume the speakers start to crackle , if I raise the volume louder the right side speaker goes dead, my question is why does this happen only with the radio and not the cd and how can i fix this.

did you try the different sound mods on teh deck...could be that
