Holes on the trunk

drilled holes on my trunk for the spoiler... but I have decided to put it on later.. so i hav bolts on my trunk for now.. i dont drive the car out when it rains, so I do not have to worry bout water..

here is the question, what should I put on the holes to prevent the metal from rusting? I am going to put on the spoiler later, so I guess I do not want to seal it.. any suggestions?

Thanks!

I would use RTV sealant . . . like for gaskets . . . It comes off pretty easy.
