I just need to get some paint work done, and want to go to a bodyshop that can match metallic colours well.

Thanks again!

I'm pretty sure BMW doesn't paint car, they take it to "their" bodyshops.

I took my car to this place

http://www.toronto.com/map?mode=geo&...58&lon=-795544

they did a really really good job, no compains at all.

BMW Autohaus also recommended that place you went to.

What colour is your car? Did they do a good job matching the paint colour etc.?

Thanks again

After doing some research and some searches on this board, I have narrowed it down to 4 choices:

1. Mister John:
- It was well recommended by SickFinga and by some other people on this board
- It is a service first shop so I don't have to wait for an adjuster
- BMW Autohaus recommended this shop (Although I'm sure they have their reasons)

2. Roy Foss:
- They are an "I-Car" certified bodyshop. Another person on this board told me about "I-Car" being a certification only good body shops could get.
- They are a service first shop
- T&C BMW recommended this shop

3. European Autobody
- Some people on this board said they do work for some BMW dealerships and work on Ferrari's and BMW's all the time. They say the work is the absolute "BEST", "Top Notch" etc.
- They are NOT a service first shop

4. Technik Automotive
- NOT a service first shop
- I have no personal experience with them, but they seem to have a good reputation in Toronto for doing good paint work. If anyone has any expeiences or thoughts to share, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks for the input!

Technik,

I am very sure you have to wait in a line, as Lawrence(the owner)
told me. To paint the whole car, you have to wait but lil parts I dont think you have to wait.
They do very good job.
