New Formula One Rules for 2003!

i know many of you guys are following it. just in case u didn't know/hear there was a FIA meeting on monday the 28th. and they changed a few rules. the biggest two are

the points system it used to be the top 6 car ge the points 10-6-4-3-2-1 now next year it will be 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 the top 8 cars get the points

and the qualifing only one fast lap on friday and saturday nothing more. who ever is first in the driver standings is first on the track on friday. and on saturday who ever was last (first) on friday goes first (last) on saturday.

sounds like the qualifing is going to be fun to watch and some strange starting grids might come out of it. either way can't wait till march 2003

i like the points system idea... the only cars that ever finish are ferrari 1,2, williams 3,4, and mclaren 5, 6 so now it gives those crummy teams (sauber, jordan, bar) a chance to score something at least
