Angry squeak in my steering wheel

So as im driving along i can now here this gentle squeek in the wheel once i take a corner or turn the wheel... its really annoying...anyone had this problem before and what are the fixes to it...im scared to pull off the wheel cuz the air bag and shit like that tho

any help would b appreciated

Mine squeaks when I turn to the left . . . . . I remember a thread awhile back about this.
Said you had to take off the steering wheel on replace something . . . I forget . . .

Just buy an amplifier. . problem soved . . . try and search it

Exclamation U got a worn slip ring.

It's located inside the steering wheel hub and should take about an hour to replace.

About that Squeek...

Dinan 3 is exactly right, its a worn slip ring, I had the same problem...

A good place to get small parts like that is this little BMW shop on Steeles, its like 2 blocks west of Weston Rd., right beside the Ferrari dealership...

yea i have that problem too, in my cavalier though. Everytime i make a gentle turn to the left.

How much would that piece cost?

I"ve heard it is expensive. My friend had the exact same problem and apparently the part was like $300 or something nuts...

but it must be available cheaper.
