If you look in Trader a 1993 goes for around 7G's with 200 or less km and a 1994 goes for 9 g's with about 200,000...

Unless you buy it for $3500 and drive it till she dies then you swap engines...and why would the engine bhe shot after 215? Neglegance and abuse...but even abuse how many guys on here have 300 or more and abuse the $h!t out of there cars.....Must be neglagance....

Too much of a head ache just save up $16,000 and get a E36 M3...1998...

It's better that way cause buy the time you get the 318 it's $3500 then the engine which is a few grand, then suspension and brakes....it's almost more then what the M3 would cost....

when i was approved for my loan i was approved for up to $22,000

had every intention of buy an M car that was mint, but once i found out how much it was going to cost in insurance i could afford the car but not the insurance

so i spent 9500 on a mint 92 325i instead and decided to build it up from there

some times its easier to get a cheaper insurance car and build it into an M or something better

That is true but what about that "law" for telling the insurance company about mods...Because you are throwing in an M engine....Anybody do this on the board after they did there swap and tell your company that you dropped in an M engine?
