Must be:

AGP 2X compatible
ATI graphics chip , 9200 or higher
128mb ddr cache or higher
Name brand so i can flash it to mac. Please let me konw if you have somethign that fits the bill, i ll check the specs and see if i can flash it.!!

Im looking to get rid of my card AX600XT so maybe we could use this thread to buy or trade and sell. I would sell it to you but its PCI-Express so it wont be compatible, Im looking for X700 or higher. Lets bounce this around and see who needs what and whos got what.

Asus AX600XT is about 7 to 10% faster than 9600XT and is 128mb (card is less than a month old)

thanks Quack. I was just looking at some reviews and NVidia is starting to look better and better as I keep doing more research on vid cards. The 6800GT is going for 449 canadian at Canadacomputers and is just about as good as x800xt but 300 bucks less. It seems its the best value out there.

Here are some results at 1280x1024 res with 2x Antialiasing and 4x Ansiotropic effects on Doom3 scores:

ATI Radeon X800XT Platinum Ed. FPS on Doom3 = 52

Geforce 6800GT FPS on Doom3 = 56
