Heating Problem

guys, i got a slight heating problem. need some help. the problem i've been noticing is after i drive for a long distance. so if i'm driving for about 1 hour or more then an hour. i notice the heat blowing in my car gets a bit cooler and isn't as hot any more. and i haven't changed any of the knobs. so it starts blowing cooler air. my thermostat gauge stays right in the middle as normal the entire time.
any ideas. i did change my thermostat last winter cause it wasn't working properly.

I'm new to the bimmer world but .........
I've noticed the same with my E36. I figure it's my climate contol cooling the interior down to your selected temp. If I turn the temp up slightly, it goes back to warm.
Sound right?

yeah, when i turn the heat up slightly higher, it gets warm again.
can anyone else confirm that it's the climate control as bimmerod mentioned.

Yeah, that's how "CLIMATE CONTROL" works. Turn the heat, up it gets warmer - Turn it down, it gets cooler. If u set it to a high temp. (25 for example) it will blow warm air until it reaches 25. It will then blow the temp. of air to maintain the particular setting. Every vehicle is like that.

thanks guys. i know how climate control works. i just thought it may be something else cause i didn't think it would blow it that cold. plus, if i don't put the temp higher, it should eventually blow hot air again once it gets cooler in the car. but it takes forever for it to blow hot again unless i put the temp up. well, now i know it's not a problem, so thanks.
