if you want to spend less you can get a set of Koni yellows with H&R springs for about $1000

Koni yellows are kinda rough even adjusted to the softess setting , if you want something softer but non-adjustable you can get some bilstien shocks

its not bad, I always thought them were good, but on one of the Volvo's I've seen, it was pretty bad corrosion, and the car doesn't see much winter duty, as for the E39s I'm looking at, it'll be seeing all the weathers.

most of the official sites for these suspension companies are never updated, even on the H&R website they don't have any info about the coilovers for E39, you can PM members Rush or Derrick, both of the have E39 540i's with Bilstien shocks & Eibach springs

What do you mean FK is made with shitty materials?

FK uses Koni shocks and FK springs.

I got them on my car, cant say much about them since I got nothing to compare, but they didnt brake on me yet.

P.S. limousine in german means Sedan

Interesting,

My dad's E39 740i says on the navigation computer in the settings that it is a '7 Limo'. It doesn't look anything like that picture.

E39 is a 5-series, your dads 740i is a E38
