so u think C over E36? The thing is, I'm so used to seeing E36's, they're so, "normal" to me, C's are so exotic and luxurious in my mind. But I'm trying to bring her over to the dark side.

well I'm not saying C over E36, I really don't know which is more reliable, they are both are looking outdated, and how can a C-Class be exotic & luxurious they have so much plastic inside

C class!

get a 98+ so it has the standard "aero kit" and smartkey

but get 99+ if you get c230, so you can have the kompressor engine (which is better then the regular 2.3L 4cycl obviously)

Okay, so I think we're gonna go with the C, what should we be lookin at? 280? 230? Years?

I think 99 is the newest we can go in that price range.

Julian tell her to get the 99 C230 Kompressor, it's a little noisy though, but if she had more cash a C43 AMG would be nice

no C36 they are a piece of shit, most of them are badly treated & maintained, seen many with high $$$ repair bills

if you go with a C230 99..just look for a 2000 with standard ESP, as 99's only had ASR

and 2000's had tiptronic..hahaha
