I'm not too impressed by the Viper... I just got back from Las Vegas, rented a Viper GTS for 3 days (silver with blue stripes)... I thought I'd enjoy the car more, I was surely disappointed... don't get me wrong, its very fast and powerful... but with the very cheap interior and the heat that it puts off in the cockpit... not sure why anyone would spend that kind of money on the car

Nice pics

I'm not a fan of the car. It's fast and can knock out almost any car (see my thread about the 650HP Viper me and Rodo encountered ), but the interior is just so messed. The shift knob looks so out of place and the hand brake looks like some random stick in the middle of the console...
It also seems odd that it only has a 6,000RPM red-line...that's American muscle for ya.

It doesn't have to rev any higher with that kind of displacement.

That engine output's more torque at 2000 rpm than the E46 M3 does at it's peak, and likely more than my Z.

That means it can accelerate just as fast as at 2000 rpm than it does at redline. Comes in really handy when your at a road course.
