definitely NOT a detective. wouldn't be pulling over (my friend's) CBR 954RR for "obstruction of license plate" wearing a full uniform. These guys are out to hunt down rice-rockets.

^^^^ naw, he had the plate mounted deep inside the rear subframe of the bike... pretty much under the driver-seat. It was truthfully pretty hard to see, so he was just "asking" for the ticket in a matter of time.
