Qs: yr 2000 BMW M roadster daytime running light

my friend has a 2000 m roadster, howcome his daytime running light is where the low beam light is? is this normal?

When he starts up the car, the low beam light is automatically on, same as the dash board. Is this normal? or there is somethings wrong with his car?

and mine is 1999 m coupe, which the daytime running light is at the high beam light, dimmer of course.

Hmm is his button fully pushed out? thats the only thing i can think of to make it automatically go to the low bean and light up the dash

the low beam goes on even when PULL out or PUSH in.....thats the problem, so is it possible to fix it?

so do you mean its not normal when thats happening?

yes thats definately weird you sure it's not a us spec one? does he have mp/h and km/h on his speedo? might be a US relay

so the us one has this kinda spec?

daytime with low beam? or his relay is just fu*ked up?

i guess we'll have to figure out whats going on for his car.
