Transmission Recall for 2004 E46?

Okay, ever since my dad bought his E46 this year (he has the 5spd Auto Tiptronic transmission) there has been problems. When the car is first started in the morning and you put the car in drive, if you push on the gas it revs like it is in neutral and you have fully let of the gas and wait till it engages. Also at 100 kmp/h if you floor it sometimes it will rev again like it is in neutral and then engage into gear.
I called budds and they said they are aware of the problem, the service advisor couldn't tell me if there was a recall out for the car. (Idiot). We haven't received a letter From BMW Canada, but has anyone else experienced these problems?

It is due for its first service soon, front right H/K speaker rattles like no tommorrow, the mirrors work intermitently and the car has a rough idle in the morning. Pretty disapointing.......

Can't help you on your problems but it looks to be a lemon.

I don't get it. Some E46's have very few problems and some have sooooo many. "knock on wood"

F*%^! I hope not.............My buddies 2000 328ci had quite a few problems, but they were covered under warranty. I hope this is the last of our woes.

I have the transmission idle in the morning as well.
Same thing with the HK right side speaker. Weird.
