e30 trunk

Hey guys i have an 86 325e........i have to MTX 12's in it both about 400 watts each or more cant remember......inside the car it sounds amazing but outside my trunk rattles wayyyyyy to much.....any suggestions? i went to an audio shop and they said they can stop the rattlin by installing sometihn called dynamite? i tihnk that's it but they want 300 dollars at least.....so if anyone knows how to stop dat rattlin plz let me know.....thanks!

dymatt. I had 2 MTX 10s and they rattled my shit stupid, even with dynamatt, and expandable foam.

so there's really nothin to do then is there?.....i guess i'll jus leave because the sound is great inside.....did u push in ur crome bumpers? and also is there anyway to get fold down seats? or maybe a custom job done for that?

Pushed in the front yes, and no fold down.

Use the ski hole. My trunk doesnt rattle much anymroe but its facing the other way.

was it hard to push them? did u get thme professionally done or canit be done at home if i wanted too?

I did it with a drill and a portable in my schools auto class.

there is a much cheaper solution then dynamat... first gut your trunk out, remove all carpeting, spare tire, antenna, battery ect. anything mechanical. tape off the tail lights from inside, mount licence plate with rubber washer (found in plumbing section at CT)

contact these guys and arrange the whole trunk to be sprayed with there "bedliner" product
