i paid $399au

what do u guys think the advantages of putting in 2 subs would be cause in some songs with not much bass im hardly getting any noise outta the sub at all... would 2 cure that?

and do u think i should mount it in the boot so that the speaking is facing into the cabin or into the boot?

mines into the "trunk" but i've been told that German cars are insulated very well, so I get awesome bass when i fold the rear driver side seat down

Kontesto.. the Audi's are super insolated.. no way any sound can come through that trunk with a conventional box setup.. you gotta fire em foward with the fold down seat..

E30 has a few passages for the sound to travel.. through the rear deck, and through the fenders over the wheel wells and into the cabin that way... I just build a box with 2 10's fireing towards the tail lights.. it work good only because it's very narrow and can use the truck as a second enclosure. it is very physical and even shakes the seats but doesn't give you the mid bass you would get in a hatchback or ski boot setup.

good luck and remember ported is better then sealed.. hella better

Its all opinion.

Sealed is more SQ oriented but can get loud
Ported is more SPL but can give good SQ
Bandpass is (generally) shitty
