Question How to build up a 325I

Ok I'll admit that I am totally new to the BMW world being that I come from the classic muscle car background. But I now have the oppertunity to work on a 1989 325i. I need help on what can be done to this thing to increse performance.

Can you all help me out here. I need to know what I can do to this little thing to make it run.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Chip it, air intake, cat-back exhaust and get a light flywheel. This will will make it more perky!
It all depends on your budget....

You find these parts on the internet. Go onto google.com and type in e36 chip or what ever your looking for. There are plenty of shops out there. Even our sponsers can help you out, Tunerworks.com
If you want to leave it all up to the shop, then I suggest you go to Raven performance/Bavarian motorsports. They got everything you will need to make it a bit faster or if you want to make it VERY quick.
Hope that helps...

All I know is that there is a great woman who told me to make her little 325 go faster. I haven't ever tried to do this but she knows that I like to work on cars. So I'm going to see what I can do to make her wishes come true.

Thanks for the help. And any further assistance will be greatly welcome.

As far as I know Dave isn't doing small mods anymore. He is working at Pfaff Porsche as a service advisor and setting up race cars and engine swaps at Motronix.
