help with DIM display on stock deck!

i have my radio apart on my desk b/c its has a dim display.

i used the DIY link to try an fix it, but the resistor that they mention in the fix looks fine to me, i dont see a crack.

can anyone here help.

hey i think i finally fixed the Dim lighting from DIY site.

i re-sodered that resitor in the pics, even though it looked fine, i did it anyways.

now it works almost all the time, no prob....
