angel eye modification

I don't know if anyone else has seen this but, I found this guys original page back when I had my honda.

http://www.geocities.com/jvxdriver/e...es_upgrade.htm

I know that a lot of us have problems with angel eyes and not everyone can afford DDE. Not only did this fello make his own angel eyes, in this write up he shows how to make them brighter.
Also he wrote a little about modifying the sheild in projectors to yield color from your HID. It's good stuff to read.

I thought they looked pretty good for something HOMEMADE. mkgino I knew you would hate it cuz an old post with you telling someone else that their rings would never be as bright as yours sparked my interest in posting this. to each his own.

LED's are dim... if you cut the ring in to two, put LED's at the top AND bottom... (you'd never upper & lower eyelids to make it look clean), then it'll be good when done.
