spoke to eurostyle he wanted $1200 for the but he advised it would be to expensive to ship to Vancouver, over $1000 cuz of the size of the door panels.

yeah he was being difficult about that- greyhound is like $150 to ship a body kit- he's quoting $400+ for shipping... seems to me like he wants to make a buck off the shipping.
get a board member to buy it and ship it- there's a kit for sale in the fs/ft forum (a full eurostyle e30 kit) for $500.

Greyhound SHOULD be fairly cheap, engines are $75 I think, and my whole widebody kit was $300 to ship I believe, but those kits are BIG, like, the whole back end of the car big, and the whole front end too, only two pieces... Had to be sent on two different buses, haha.

$150 by Greyhound sounds about right and also $400 for Purlolator/Fex Ex/UPS sounds right too. So I doubt he is making a penny off of the shipping.
I send out body kits all the time through Purolator and Greyhound all the time at work. Purlolator is cheap (not cheaper than Greyhound) for me to use than just anyone since my work has an account set up with them.

Ha ha! Thats just funny! First i take a loss from money transfers with paypal (out of my pocket), then i have to wait 7 days so i can get the money, at that time i have to pay for materials (again my money), they i wast a day off work doing the packaging and shippeing, in most cases the quotes i get online are no accurate so it ends up costing more (which comes out f my pocket once again)...So in conclusion; Yeah, shipping parts is the most profitable part of my business

Fil, I'm quite sure most of us here know that a lot of business is not just making money...
I was just adding my two cents on pricing for Greyhound, *shrug*...

rec'd email from Leslie Chau at BC Auto & Design Inc.
he replied - The best price they can give is Front Bumper $480 CAD. Rear Bumper $450 CAD. Side SKirt $380CAD. Door Pannel $210 CAD. I asked him how much to ship, just the door panels and side skirt he advised $120 for shipping. His number is 905-479-9628.
Are their kits any good?
