ICE installation in E30 cabrio

Im wondering about installing a sub in my E30 cabri, and if so I want to use the 10" JL Audio sub. Anyone got any experience with this sub and who this will work in the cabrio? The main thing is: Will I get the sound inside the car or outside? Im kinda affraid it will play more outside the car than inside!

Thats basicly what I thought. But I changed my headunit yesterday to the Pioneer DEH-7600 and it blew me away with the JL audio component set. No longer the need for a sub in the E30... Thnx anyway
