Gold is ugly, '01 330i's have terribly light steering, and 328 > 330.

Not a fan of gold on the 3 series. However, it's still a beautiful car.

I have a 2002, I personally love it. No problems so far, about 26,xxx km on it. The battery died a week after I got it, brand new car too, but they replaced it, and about a month ago I had to get the corner lights replaced because they cracked on their own on both sides in the same spots and started to fog, but that was covered under warrenty. I've never tried the 328 or the models before the steering got lighter (I think thats what people are complaining about) but its a great car none the less...

i think no matter what the colour of the car, it can look hut if done right. here is a picture of the car you are thinking of getting with some nice settled mods

Gold can look good if done right, like E46iT said, but later on if you wanna sell it you'll have a limited market. However, if you do like gold, you'll have a unique car. I have silver and everyone and their brother has one...
Just my 2 cents... Good luck!!!
