i have 2 alpine type r 6X9's in the back of my car, along with the 12 year old bose speakers up front.

they are louder than some aftermarket speakers, which is suprising.

Hi, I have just bought some car audio products. I had them installed by an installer in Toronto. They says the amps and the woofers are really good. Especially the components. But I would like to know anyone ever had heard of BM_BOSCHMANN before. Please give me some advised.
I had spent like 4 - 5 thounsand of dollars on the products. I really wants to know rather the products i bought are good or not. From hearing the sound quality and comparing to the other brands, the products seems more mild and soft. It had me to sit in car to listen to it for hours and hours. And I do enjoy the entertainment. Please let me know if these are good or not.
----I am not an audio expert / anytype of professional yet.----

Thanks.

i just found what i wanted today for my truck... i went to a aftermarket place looking for a new system for my hemi... and i finally have my product as what to put into my hemi and where... i am going to buy a JL Audio box... But... i'm going to have two 12" Kicker subs in there instead of the JL Audio... then running the subs will be a 1000 watt Clarion amp... the two subs are going to be put in a JL Audio box (as i mentioned earlier) and put under the backseat... same thing with the amp... i am going to keep my stock deck because it is a great deck with the 6 cd changer... i'd have a bass control knob somewhere on the dash for the subs... sounded pretty sick in the store... it'll make any girl wet now once she sits in the backseat with those on... niiice setup tho man... beauty... sorry... that's my dollar for the day... lol...

Burnhard, a few condiserations:

Don't use Kicker subs in a JL enclosure. They are designed and tuned for a specific sub, it won't sound as good as it would in a properly made custom box.

Stock decks are never great. They will always be the single largest bottleneck in a system. If you want sound quality, change that before anything else.

I too love the Kicker remote bass knob. I have it mounted in my centre console, best purchase I ever made for my system.

Lastly, that's A LOT of power and subs for a truck interior. If you come close to even using half of the available current, you won't hear ANY vocals at all. Even with my Alpine Type-R front stage with lots of power, my bass knob never goes past the 50% mark, it's usually situated around 30%.

Just speaking from personal experience. Bass can be fun at first, but you'll get bored quickly. Sub(s) should be complementing to the sound, not the sound themselves.
