whats best for my bimmy?

Hi fellow bimmer freaks, im new to this site and might i say its great. its nice to exchange comments and tips between ourselves.
i have an 86 325e which has extensive work done to it i will download a picture as i figure out how too i have a question is it better to run a factory air filter box with modification done to the car or is the p-flow or cone filter better?

modifications are as listed eblock ,i head,chip,exhausted,cone filter,suspension,oversized throttle body,adj.fuel pressure regulator,and 3:73 gears.

The air box is better than just a cone stuck in there, power-wise. But a properly shielded cone is the best solution.
