M30 I think!!

Do any of you guys have pictures of an M30 engine. I have recently bought a car with an engine transplant and the owner said it was a 3.0 from a five series. Iv'e been told it could be an M30 but I am not sure. The reason I'm not sure is because the M30 engine seems to have the box like inlet manifold and my engine has the manifold like a E30 325i. Was there any variations of the M30? Are there any other 3.0 engines that look different? Any info would be appreciated

3.5 L - E34

3.2 L - E28

3.0 L - I think E12

Here ya go. This is the Engine. Apparantely it's a 3.0 but I'm not sure. Could it be a 2.8 or something. Also, Iv'e never seen the pipes coming out of the top of the inlet manifold like that. Is it possible that the guy who put the engine in changed the size of inlet manifold to get it into the car??

the 528 has a 2.7L eta engine, same as teh 325, 325e/es which that motor looks to be, look at the valve cover it has the mounting point on the valve cover for the cold start valve
