Shipping costs

Does anyone know what it costs to get a car shipped to where I live here in winnipeg form Toronto?

I might be flying out there next month to pick up a car, but I dont want to drive it back, so can anyone that knows anything about this give me some do's and don'ts about the process?

lol you'd need to be payed enough money to:
a) have gas for the car to make it there
b) get a plane/train ticket back

and
c) have food/other expenses on the way
d) have some money left over for urself for doing it..

plus if you think about it u'd be driving an uninsured car accross the provinces , most likely never doing under 150kph.. chances of getting pulled over r kinda high too

It costs silly money to have a car shipped properly on a train in Canada.

To have it shipped on a truck, is even worse.

I got quoted $2000 to have a Fiero get shipped from Toronto to Calgary... in a closed train car (I'd never have a car shipped on an open train, way too much rail dust) On a truck it was $3500.

Well, assuming it's $150 for Mikester to fly to Winnipeg (can't be much cheaper, it's $75 for airport taxes), and then about, $200 for gas (to be on the safe side) and then another $50 or $100 for food, and you're at... $450ish? Call it $500 so he gets something out of the deal...
