Bodyshop pics of my M3

Well I drop in to see my car today to see how thing were coming along, and as you can see their certainly getting on with it

Everything has been stripped all the bumper and moulding have been stripped right back and and primered.
They got the windows out without breaking them which was a relief.
He said it was bit of a pain in the ass to strip down as there was so many bits and there was a fair few clips missing that he going to buy and get sorted when it gets put back together.
He told me that car was in great condition with only a coulple of bit of very minor rust that have now been sorted.
I was very pleased with what they have done so far, as I was alittle
paranid that it was all going to go badly wrong.
But they are making such a nice job of it and doing everything right with no shortcuts. The repaired 1/4 looks great.

It will be getting primed this afternoon and I will go down a take a few more pics next week, by which time it should be red again.

I can't wait till it's finsih as there was an Audi TT that he had just finish spraying and it looked amazing, and my car will look every bit as good

Evo2, Do you have any pictures when your car was stripped? Those along with some after- shots would help M3Pilot make it through the repaint process.

Well it should be getting very near to being finished.
I'm going to see it again tomorrow.
I'll let you know how it's going.
The bumpers looked pretty good last time I dropped in, so the whole car should look the same, it's going to look amazing

wow it's bright!

i love how bright red paint looks when it's still not sun cured. I remember painting my fiero dodge viper red by dupont paint, and it looked almost flourescent red or hot pink before it cured 2 weeks later.
