Question E39 right side mirror

As you know, some E39s bend right side mirror downwards during reverse gear. Can we cancel this? It is not always usefull, I think.

Cancelling R side mirror to not look down on reverse

Just switch the selection mirror button on the driver's door to the opposite side mirror and it will eliminate the feature.

I first saw this feature on by buddies 850i years ago. Cool at first, but then became a pain in the arse when you want to see higher than just the R side curb.

Yes. When the mirror adjustment switch is to the left, the right mirror goes to curb saver mode. When the switch is set to the right mirror, curb saver mode is off.
