Turning over cars

Do any of you people buy cars with the sole intent of selling them for more than you paid? I know there is tons of money to be made in this and Iím wondering if anyone has any advise.
In Canada we can sell 4 cars per year before we have to call it a business correct?

I know when I bought my e30 I could have sold it a week later for a few hundred more after only cleaning it up a bit. These are the types of cars Iím looking for.

Thanks,

Spencer

Around here you can go to out of state auctions and pickup cars for really cheap and then come back to NY and sell them for much much more, the prices here for used cars is ridiculous.

Curbing is frowned upon, though I do it when I see a really good deal at the auctions. Even then I don't curb for much, but a lot of dealers here go illegal and turn back the odometers :/

How do you get in to the auction scene?

TIA

Dealer auctions? Know someone who owns a dealership.

There's lots of police auctions and stuff where you can get perfectly good vehicles for next to nothing. IE: 69 Camaro RS/SS sold out here at the Police Auctions for $7000, and it was a 12s quarter mile car too! Perfect shape.
