I just got off the phone talking to my insurance broker for price quotes regarding insuring a 2002 X5 3/0L..with my multi car discount(two cars) and my loyal 20 years(no accidents) my price is $1800cdn tax in with $1000 deductible...damn thats cheaper than insuring my 2002 Leased Jetta 1.8T... 2002 X5 here I come baby....
The Canadian govement mandated that all insurance companies should reduce policies on a average of of %10 since they are reducing medical payments for injuried parties by that amount.Of course it voluntary by individiual insurance companies and certain requirements has to be made(clean record),but from the info from my broker majority of insurance companies will offer a reduction in rates.For those who seen %100 increase in the last few years it's not much of a discount but those who have clean records it does help...
