Lets recall some sporty BMW coups/convertibles. M1=coupe, M3=coupe (except for that weird 4 door E36), sporty 3 series coupes/convertibles, Z1 = convertible, Z3 roadster/M coupe = coupes and convertibles. There's also the classic 3.0CS/CSL. Then we have M6, 8 series, Z8 and now the Z4. Wow, yeah, easy as that.
It doesn't actually matter since that's not what I was retorting to. Even if the above wasn't true, they don't say that all coupes/convertibles are even numbered. They say "in line with BMW's policy of giving even numbers to its more sporting models" which is outright bullshit.

So they're referring to BMW's new rather than traditional naming scheme. Would it make you that much happier if they had put "new" before "BMW's policy"? You know why it's written like that, no need to get upset about it.
Oh, and just to bug you, the 2002 was an even number.

Yeah, that'll do. I get upset whenever magazines post articles by people who know shit all about the topic (and editors who seems to be on par with them).

That whole "BMW is better than MB because everything is NA" argument just went out the window I guess... haha

I hope so, no hard lines across the top of the door (which I hate). But I doubt it'll be that.
Looks kickass though

No, that's a poorly photoshopped picture of the 6-series, supposed to be an M6.

Everything will still be NA but now youll have a turbo option for an added kick. before when BMW was in Formula 1 they kicked ass with their 1.5l Turbo engine. I cant wait for the new turbos to come out
