Even if the Audi and the Mercedes might be faster- which I don't think they will be, BMW will still be at the top for it's behind the wheel enjoyment.

For the true enthusiast- the lack of a manual transmission is a serious turnoff.

It's almost the same as getting a car in which there is no traction control off button.

BMW without manual tranny as standard is basically a Benz.If that happens then Benz will be getting my money cause so far Benz is owning the market with their designs and engines.

kinda true, but even if BMW only had auto, I will still pick BMW over Benz, BMW handling is better than any benz, the sensation in any AMG car is amazing, but still feels to soft & loose,

you people are getting on my nerves~! STOP BASHING BMW's new designs! They are incredible! They are forms of art, and i can gurantee you they look good now, and will look good in 10 years...
stop living in the past, and move towards the future!Boxy xcars are good for the most part, but BMW combines boxiness with agility, and curves!

Maybe you should just buy a '91 Mustang 5.0L to satisfy your stop light to stop light expectations.
I compleetly agree
Im not saying Audi or M.B are bad or suck, I just love BMW too much, thats it.

What about the handling between that Audi he's talking about to the M5, if the Audi is going to be all wheel drive........wouldn't it handle better?
Not neccesarily, I think the M5 with all the electronic components in it will definatly give it a ride for the money....... Audi won't know what hit them, M5 all the way.
