Is they any 8 series owners on board. Probably the nicest Bimmer of its time. What would be the average price now.. Hmmm getting ideas... Spring is comming..

I saw a SICK 850CSi in Aurora at a Tim Hortons. He had 19" Breyton Magics...  they had so much LIP it made my gf jealous....
i would have left a max card on it but I was all out....

there are many factors or then just style and taste, shit hits the fan in a 850, u better get ready to bend over, something happens to 330ci, under warrenty, plus if not, parts are not hard to find....many factors other then the 850 just gives you instant pimp status

There were a couple of 850s for sale in the auto trader a few months back....I wanted them soooooo bad but not enough cash at the time. they're gone now.

I looked at getting an 8 and test drove a really nice example. The problem is they look cool but that's where it ends. They are not fun to drive, they and really large (imagine a 2 door 7 series) and very expensive to run and maintain. They are slow even with the V12 and corner like they weigh a ton. The back seat is useless  They look pimp and are a great piece of BMW history, but I could not bring myself to buy one because of all these issues.

A few mods would change that though...thats the beauty of it...the engine is huge, I heard that its the gearing that makes this car slower than it should be, so changing the final drive ratio should fix it
