a '98 GTI-VR6. they didn't handle 400f/300r very well on that car. but like you said, different platform...

when you say soft you mean the shocks , springs or both . if i have two people in the back will it drop and bang hard on the floor . they also have ajustible setups for more . iyo should just stay away from them .

Yeah, I've seen 500+ rates on the rear of E30's.

Both are relatively soft, especially for the height they sit at. The shorter the springs are, the stiffer they need to be for obvious reasons.

Just stay away from Spax. If you want a low look, get the H&R Cup Kit.
