After replacing the K&N cone style filter w/ heat shield back to the original stock air box w/ K&N drop in filter, my car's throttle response was very crisp and from 4K RPM up it just kept pulling and pulling like you would not believe. Amazing combination with the bored out throtte body you help me do. Thanks! I can't wait to dump this thing on a dyno.
On my old cone style filter it felt very sluggish in the city under 100km/h. On the highway it felt only slightly better. I love the flat pannel filter and your 100% absolutely right about 318's intakes, the K&N flat pannel filters w/ airbox work way better than the cone style. At first I doubted your friends 130hp @ RW on his "ti" but now I can definitely feel it.
