e36 came only with 2.93, 3.15, 3.23, 3.38, 3.91, 4.11
3.23, 3.38, 3.91 are LSD
3.15 can be LSD and non-lsd
the rest are non-lsd

Dude, I've worked on NUMEROUS E36 automatic and have NEVER seen any LSD on them. I can almost guarantee auto's never came with it unless it was a special order. I don't care what your source says... go to a garage and check yourself. I know you blew your diff up, but I also know that parts places don't know shit about diff ratios and LSD's... I've gone through my share of diff's too (4 of them actually) and found the most reliable source is to find out yourself.

Grasshopper, if you'd actually read this thread before post whoring so quickly you'd notice that Vlad mentioned (on the first line I quoted) about "automatic 325/328"... we're not talking about M3's. Of course every frickin M3 will have an LSD. Make yourself useful and go to bed now.

P.S. 318 5 spd got 3.45 and 318 auto for 4.44 (not 4.11 as i posted above)

I know that the E30 325ix had a LSD 3.91. Don't know about any E36's with that.
