Sounds like you have the engine covered. Check the suspension, body mounts, diff mounts, etc...

After you are done that you might have a couple of bucks for gas! LOL!

OK, since I've owned the car:

OK, suspension wise, Ive replaced all 4 shocks (Bilstein), all springs (FK 60/40), front control arms, thrust arms (on the way, should be done next week), and rear bearings. I know I replaced more but I cant remember right now... rear bearings? front bushings?!? I have no clue...

all thats left there is the thrust arms about $400 parts/install and rear subframe bushings another $400 parts/install.

I have never replaced any engine or tranny mounts, Im trying to put that off for as long as possible. Whats a 'body mount'?

Rear Subframe bushings and rear body mounts are the same I guess. Go to Ireland Engineering or BMP Design for urethane engine, tranny, rear subframe bushings, etc...

If you have done sway bars then Ireland Engineering has a sway bar renforcement kit for the E30's (a known weakspot).

I still have the stock sway bar on, Im considering upgrading to E34 M5 Touring sways in the future.

But when the time comes to upgrade all my engine, tranny, and rear subframe bushings I ABSOLUTELY WILL get them from Ireland Engineering. That company is incredible. UUC Big brake kits are rebadged Ireland Enginerring brakes

and Ryan, in regard to the conversation we had last night...

This car started life as a 1985 318i. Body is very good. Includes hood and deck lid not in pictures. Cage is tacked in but we can weld it in completely when sold. Cage is 6 point with door bars. Cage is made from 1.5" OD x .095 wall chromemoly tube (4130). We always TIG weld chromemoly tube. Trunk is cut out for a fuel cell or you can use stock tanks. Please call us with questions. 626-359-7674 asking $1500 Usd.
