I see how it works, sorta like a normal sub. That big square is what pushes the air around, like the cone on a normal speaker, what's not to understand? Except there is probably a whole lot of excursion with this design because there is no rubber ring thing around the cone limiting it's movement.
It'd be interesting to see one working in person though.

This is still the best subwoofer.. it's 16 - 18" woofers built into the floor in a horn enclosure
