I think pontiac sunfires have that too, so you could look for that for spare parts too.
When I was saying about the washers around the windshield I was thinking about the cowl? Whatever the black plastic piece is at the bottom of the windsheild is called. Maybe you could position them so they shot out from just below the edge of the hood. Even if they only hit 1/3 up the windshield the wipers would do the rest.

My winter beater is a sunfire and i was just looking at the set up i think i might be able to just make it myself all i will need are the nozzels
