2005 3 Series

If this pic is accurate, that's not too bad at all! What do you all think? Better than the current 5 and 7, that's for sure (dog ugly).

Just my observations....

Side looks great but the front is not as clean as the E46. The air dam in the lower lip looks hacked and the cutoff line beside the kidney grill is out of place. The grill should have been part of the hood like the E46. Maybe a facelifted version in a couple of years will smooth out the front.

Overall, still better than the new 5 and 6, IMO. It'll probably take me some time to get used to it but great designs shouldn't take time to settle in for acceptance.

Looks pretty nice. Those headlights would look nice on an e36.

Do you have any pics of the rear?

I mean in the past, when you see a BMW, you KNOW its a BMW< with these new models however, you see it, and i you get confused with other crap cars, like ACCORD, CAMARY..........

Looks good, just think that they should smooth out the turn signals on the front, i don't like the hard corner at the bottom

I don't believe it, call it a chop I say. The 3 is the smallest of all BMWs, well for now atleast. But It could be me or the camera angle but that looks like the size of the current 5 series. Now if the 3 is going to be that large how large will the 5 be, or even the 7. Would the difference between the 3 and 5 only be in size but in brut power 3 = IL6 5 = V8 and luxury?

Photoshop. The car is E46 from the beltline up, and the headlamp assemblies are clearly just E46 bi-xenon's.
