I love that car too. The motor is a '92 2.5L M50 (non-VANOS). BMW's best 24v motor to do heavy internals for Forced Induction (strongest block etc..)

p.s. I know this car is a repost, but does someone have the old thread handy? I want to see the specs on the car again. I remember it used to be for sale.

The motor is sold, i have read. The owner is building a new M50 motor that is borred to 2.8 L. His goal is 1000 hp now.

The blue E21 that did 9,50 sec on 1/4 mile, is also getting a M50 motor that is borred to 2.8L. The owner of that car is putting a sequensiel gearbox in it too. The goal is 1000+ hp and high 7 or low 8 on 1/4 mile.

As I recall that is a wanabe 700 plus Hp,NOT.Like I said B4 if it had yhat kind of power it would burn the tires in any gear.Aby looking at that vid he couldn't muster up enough juice to burn them in FIRST.Just a stock power plant and 7psi turbo.NO BIGGIE.
