It doesn't make too much of a difference, if you're worried toss some Redline Water Wetter in the rad.
I have underdrive pullies (for UUC) and have done the fan delete mod and have had no overheating problems yet.
Sure the pump runs slower, but it's not a lot slower. The products are tested before they come out.
