e30 fan problems
sometimes the inside fan for airflow will only work at position 4 (the strongest) but not at any of the other positions... and sometimes they all work, what could be the problem?

mine does the same... usually starting at 4 and turning it down works...

there are resistors for the slower speeds - since it works sometimes, they're obviously still OK but connections might be getting flaky - if you need the wiring diagram for the fan, send me an email and I'll scan it for you.

clean the resistor..or replace it..took me 5min to swap mine!

a lot of things needed to be replaced...but at least i still have money left over to pay to get the body parts i buy painted

btw..the resistor is $40 at the dealer..i got one free
