e30 turbo

this is a wild idea prolly never gonna happen, but what price range am i looking in (altogether, parts plus installation) if i wanna put in a custom turbo or supercharger on an e30 with a 325i motor?

You would have to be way more specfic in what you want, and what you want your car to do. Prices could range from 2,000 to 6,7 thousand.

Assuming you just want a bolt on F/I kit with no internal work to the motor (low boost) you're looking at about $5000-$7000 for either application. It all depends where you get the parts (do you shop around and retro-fit, or just buy online from tuners) and who assembles/installs everything (some shops are rip offs). Be weary about adding too much power to the "ix" driveline because of strength limitations (i heard from a good source).

hmm well i doubt ill actually be doing this, i was just curious to see the price ranges, and its outa my league, ill just stick to body mods the power is enough for now

I'm doing mine for around $4000 kiwi dollars.. $3500ish canadian..

All DIY however.. not a crap job. That includes standalone engine mangement.
