2 Imported E30 M3 Convertibles.....

have just been imported from Germany by someone who i know. I spoke to him today for about half an hour, and he has personally invited me to come see these cars in person when they clear customs, which is supposed to be on Tuesday, November 25th. I saw ACTUAL pictures on his digicam that he took today, so i know it is for real. From what i saw, these cars look CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY. One of the cabrio's apparently has 9 or 10 inch deep dish Borbets (hard to see on a small digi-cam screen), and is totally modified. He knows how much i love e30's, and he said that he would give me first dibs to buy either one of the cars.

I will post lots of pics of these beauties, just as soon as they arrive. I know they probably aren't "real" m3 convertibles, but the guy said i probably wouldn't be able to tell! Apparently they are in immaculate/showroom condition.

I will keep everyone updated, and as soon as the cars are released from customs and at the shop.....i will immediately be there to take tons of pictures, and yes, take BOTH of the cars for a spin as promised!!!

Check all VIN numbers and run them. Shipped M3's are quite often big trouble.

Just to let everybody know, only one of the cars is an m3 convertible, the other is just a regular cabrio with apparently HUGE deep dish wheels. I haven't had time to go by this week and check them out, but tomorrow i will be going. I will post a thread WITH pics.

Every since I started looking into BMWs the BMW E30 M3s have always been on my mind but now I have another E30 M3to add. From what I've heard the Cabrios are very rare and expensive, but why none in the states.

I swear the Europeans get to have all the fun toys while we get the leftovers.

How do you check the VINs on a car from another country. Would this involve decoding of the VINs (I've heard these VIN is emprinted in three or four different places) if so how is this done.

17 inch azev 8.5 inch in the front and 10 inch in the back (very rare rims)

Recaro sport seats (non-leather)

all parts were bought and installed in Germany the car has 138,000 kms.and I have all the documents , price 13,000$ canadian ($9 800 US). serious only.
